Land Rover Defender’s have a tendency to leech oil through the Injector Wiring Harness. Oil in turn leeches through the engine wiring loom by means of gravity and capillary action to the ECU, fouling the pins. This can cause your TD5 Defender to misfire, or not start. We highly recommend replacing the Injector harness with our modified wiring harness. We seal the common egress point with hot silicone, preventing oil from draining into the engine wiring harness.
